Morrow is positioned north of the center of Clayton County at 33 34 43 N 84 20 24 W (33.578477, -84.340117). It is bordered to the north by Lake City and to the northwest by Forest Park.
According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, Morrow has a total region of 3.4 square miles (8.8 km2), of which 0.012 square miles (0.03 km2), or 0.31%, is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 4,882 citizens , 1,731 homeholds, and 1,166 families residing in the city.
The ethnic makeup of the town/city was 44.1% African American, 36.4% White, 0.3% Native American, 12.9% Asian, 4% from other competitions, and 2.3% from two or more competitions.
